New Members Meetings PDF Print E-mail

PATC welcomes all prospective, new, and old members to it's monthly New Members meetings! Feel free to attend regardless of your membership status.

New Members Meetings are usually held the first week of each month. In 2008, meetings will be held in Vienna, Virginia at PATC Headquarters, in Maryland in a public library near Metro, and on weekend day hikes on the trail.  Check the online Calendar for the schedule of the New Members meetings.

These are informal small meetings that are hosted by an experienced PATC member. The recreational activities, volunteer opportunities, and the organization of the Club are described. Meetings typically last for about one hour. Hikes are easy-to-moderate day hikes lasting the better part of the day, with several stops for discussions about the Club and hiking in the Mid-Atlantic region.
